Trip To Atlanta

Last week we ventured to Atlanta, GA for Mark's golf tournament. The trip was exciting because I was going back to my old stomping grounds where I graduated college, and I would be getting to see my old friends. We went to the Georgia Aquarium which was really wonderful. Mia had such a great time, until Wednesday night she came down with the croup and we ended up going to the hospital. She had a breathing treatment and was doing much better so they sent us home. She was on a steriod for 2 days and they were 2 of the worst days ever! She had a major case of "roid rage"! One minute she would be hysterically laughing and the next would be bawling uncontrollably. We made it through it, Mark had a great week- they came in 5th, I got to see Dame, Kelly, & Holly which was awesome, but we were very happy to get home.

I have been going through Mia's old videos and I would like to start posting the ones that were too big to send via email. This one is from Mia's 13 month, when she was really starting to cruise around and talk. Mia loves watching this one- the trip makes her crack up every time!

Couch Potatoes

Last night we had our dear friends, the Quinlivans, over for dinner and drinks. Mia and Kate played and when they tired out they cozied up on the couch for some Dora & Diego. (mia looks ready to pass out haha)

Mia's Day at the Pool

Mia and I spent a couple of hours at Uncle Jason's pool yesterday. We had so much fun splashing and swimming "like a mermaid" as Mia would say. She was really funny talking to the other people that were at the pool, she kept saying "What's your name guys?" and " Hey guys, are you coming swimming?" over and over. They just laughed harder each time she said it. Thankfully she slept all the way home.
